Mumbai, Aug 2 (UNI) Maharashtra Wakf and Animal Husbandry Minister Anees Ahmed today said he is not interested in continuing as a minister unless the entire wakf land in the state is not handed over to the Wakf Board.

Talking to reporters, Mr Ahmed said he would meet the party high command in New Delhi tomorrow and apprise them about the Wakf controversy and his decision.

He said allegations of corruption were levelled against him as he was instrumental in bringing out the ''Wakf Board land scam''.

The Wakf Board has property to the tune of Rs 80,000 crore in the state and much of that property has been encroached upon while some of it sold out at reduced prices, allegedly to influential people.

The issue of Wakf Board rocked the House during the first week of the Monsoon Session of the state legislature.
