Warm and humid weather prevails Delhi
New Delhi, Aug 1 (UNI) As rains continued to elude the national capital today for the fourth day today, warm and humid conditions prevailed in Delhi with the mercury shooting up to 36.4 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal.
Delhiites woke up to a bright and sunny morning which, during the day pushed the relative humidity to a high of 91 per cent.
The minimum also settled at a high of 28.8 degrees celsius, two degrees above normal.
The heat and the humidity left the people sweltering, forcing most of them to remain indoors.
Similar conditions could prevail for another day or two with the weatherman forecasting warm and humid weather during the next 24 hours.
The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in the city with possibility of rain and thundershowers in some areas.
Rain abnd thundershowers are also likely at a few places over NorthWest India.
