Two run over by train

Narsinghpur, MP, Aug 1 (UNI) Two people were run over and killed by a train at Bagri colony railway gate in this district, police said.

West Bengal's Premsagar Upadhyay (27) and Bihar's Nandkishor Yadav (26) -- who were working as surveyors at four-lane road at the Agra National Highway Number 26 -- were crossing the railway gate when one of their mobile phones rang.

As one of them got so involved in talking, he did not hear the sound of approaching Mumbai-Howrah Janta Express, which crushed him.

His friend in an attempt to protect him, was also crushed by the train.
