Three new judges sworn-in in Kerala HC

Kochi, Aug 1 (UNI) Mr Harun-al-Rasheed, Mr V K Mohanan and Mr V Giri were today sworn in as the new judges of Kerala high court.

The three were administered the oath of office by Chief Justice H L Dattu during a full court reference in the high court premises here this morning.

While Mr Harun-al-Rasheed and Mr V Giri were practising advocates in the Kerala high court, Mr V K Mohanan was serving as Addl.

Director General of Prosecution.

The swearing-in ceremony was witnessed by other judges, High Court Registrar Sharat Chandran, Advocate General C P Sudhakara Prasad, Director General of Prosecution P G Thamby and Additional Solicitor General P Parameswaran Nair and others.

There are still two vacancies on the bench in the Kerala high court.
