Three new judges for Kerala HC

Kochi, Aug 1 (UNI) Mr Justices Harun-al-Rasheed, V K Mohanan and V Giri were today sworn in as judges of the Kerala High Court.

The three were administered oath of office by Chief Justice H L Dattu during a full court reference in the High Court premises here.

While Mr Justice Harun-al-Rasheed and Mr Justice V Giri were practicing advocates in the High Court, Mr Justice V K Mohanan was serving as Additional Director General of Prosecution.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by other judges, High Court Registrar Sharat Chandran, Advocate General C P Sudhakara Prasad, Director General of Prosecution P G Thamby and Additional Solicitor General P Parameswaran Nair.

While the strength of the Bench had gone up to 27, there were still two vacancies.
