Thief lynched by locals

Pratapgarh, Aug 1 (UNI) A burglar was allegedly lynched by locals in Patti area of the district late last night, police today said.

Chandrasen (25) had sneaked into the house of Ranjeet at Sudemau village with a motive to steal valuables.

However, he was caught and beaten by the locals.

He succumbed to injuries this morning.
