STFC Q1 net up 86.94% to Rs 76.70 cr

New Delhi, Aug 1 (UNI) Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd (STFC), a leading asset financing NBFC, today said its net profit rose by 86.94 per cent to Rs 76.70 crores for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 as against Rs 41.03 crores in the corresponding quarter previous year.

Its total income for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 surged by 71.26 per cent to Rs 471.14 crores as against Rs 275.10 crores in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

The total assets under management as on June 30, 2007 stood at Rs 12,932.63 crores as compared to Rs 12,038.45 crores in March 30, 2007.
