SGT to expand its operations in India
Chennai, Aug 1 (UNI) SGT India Private Limited, a leading knowledge process innovation and management services provider, today announced plans to set up its operations in India.
Talking to newspersons here, company CEO and founder Kumar Bashyam said as a part of the expansion, SGT plans to set up its fourth centre at Banglore by the end of this year, which would cater to the increasing requirements from its overseas clients.
"The company also plans to recruit over 500 professionals in the current fiscal to meet its client requirements," he informed.
"We have already invested over US dollar four million in India, and planning to invest US dollar eight million more to scale up our Indian operations." "We registered an impressive growth of over 250 per cent during the last fiscal year," Mr Kumar said adding "with the addition of one lakh sq ft capacity from our forthcoming centres at Chennai and Banglore, we are confident to maintain a strong growth pace in the comming years." Mr Kumar pointed that SGT had recently entered into an agreement to provide engineering services to Mines and Metals Engineering, a leading German engineering company.
