Post offices in AP to sell BSNL recharge coupons, new connections

Hyderabad, Aug 1 (UNI) Recharge coupons, top-up cards,new connections of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) would be available at all post offices from today.

According to a release, the Department of Posts was gearing up to meet the changing needs of the people and exploring new avenues to deliver services faster to the customers, combat increasing competition from the private courier industry and unprecedented advances in communication technology.

The department was introducing customised and need-based value-added products and services, keeping in view the requirements of specific segments of customers.

The Andhra Pradesh Circle of the Department which was the second largest circle in the country having more than 16000 post offices had entered into an agreement with BSNL for sale of their products through its network.
