One arrested for raping a minor girl

Phagwara, Aug 1 (UNI) The Phagwara Police today arrested a man for allegedly abducting and raping a minor girl.

SHO Sarwan Singh Bal said that Balli Kumar alias Raju Mistry of kirpa Nagar allegedly abducted the minor girl on May 11 and raped her on the assurance of marriage.

The police had registered a case under sections 363, 366 of the IPC, the SHO said.
