Newspaper wage boards meet in Kochi Aug 2

Kochi, Aug 1 (UNI) The two national wage boards for working journalists and other newspaper employees set up by the Union Labour and Employment Ministry will meet here tomorrow.

The boards chaired by Former Madras High Court Acting Chief Justice K Narayana Kurup will be holding the first meeting in Kerala.

The boards will meet representatives of newspaper establishments, working journalists and non-journalists of newspapers and other persons interested in fixation and revision of wages for them.

The boards will receive written representations during the hearing, an official release here today said.
