Mother throws daughter off Howrah bridge

Kolkata, Aug 1 (UNI) A woman today threw her five-year-old daughter off the Howrah bridge.

Anita Singh(35), a resident of the city's Kashipur area, threw her child off the bridge late this evening.

Police have arrested the woman. Family sources say poverty might have been the reason for the crime.
