Maruti July sales up 25 pc to 57,909 units

New Delhi, Aug 1: Country's leading car maker Maruti Udyog Ltd today said it sold 57,909 vehicles in July 2007, up 25 per cent from 46,408 vehicles sold in the same month a year ago.

The company sold 52,839 cars in the domestic market in July 2007, up 18 per cent from 44,653 vehicles sold in the domestic market in July 2006.

In comparison to the sales in July last year. Maruti's volume in the domestic A2 segment grew by 18.5 per cent, in A3 by 105.1 per cent and in C segment by 4.6 per cent.
