Man hurls abuses at BJP rebel Bhatt
Nadiad, Gujarat, Aug 1 (UNI) An unidentified man today abused Nalin Bhatt, a BJP rebel, in presence of newspersons and police personnel and later made good his escape after creating a ruckus.
Mr Bhatt had hosted a press conference here to tell about the ''lack of development in Nadiad''. Even as he was addressing the reporters, an unidentified man entered the hall and began loudly berating Mr Bhatt.
The man said local MLA Pankaj Desai was capable of looking into the issues of Nadiad town and Mr Bhatt, who hails from Vadodara, need not concern himself with the town's affairs.
The man, thereafter, proceeded to knock down the chairs and, then, fled. Police personnel, too, were present in the hall at that time.
Meanwhile, perturbed over the incident, Mr Bhatt said he will undertake a 15-hour fast in protest.
