Magsaysay, a tribute to Sainath's courage: WB Gov

Kolkata, Jul 31: West Bengal Governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi today said the 2007 Ramon Magsaysay Award for noted journalist P Sainath was a tribute to his perseverance and courage.

&34; It is also a comment on those, who have ignored or played down the challenges before Indian agricultural population, especially its Dalit section, &34; he said in a statement.
