Leptrospirosis death toll rises to nine in Surat

Surat, Aug 1 (UNI) One person died of leptospirosis in a civil hospital here, taking the death toll to nine.

Mahesh Aman Choudhary (24) died of the disease last night, hospital sources said.

Meanwhile, three more cases of leptospirosis were reported here today. As many as 51 people have been diagnosed for the disease so far, sources added.
