LDF Govt has failed in all areas: Kerala Cong

Kottayam, Aug 1 (UNI) Kerala Congress Leader R BalaKrishna Pillai today charged the LDF Government in the state with 'failure in all areas.' At a news conference here, he said the government failed in providing infrastructure facilities in areas like education, health, PWD Roads, water and transport.

The situation was worse in the education sector. The present crisis in the sector was the result of the government's efforts to sabotage UDF plans and policies, he alleged.

Parents and students were in a dilemma and Institutions in the neighbouring states were taking advantage of the situation in the state.

The condition of roads to national highways in the state was very bad and people were suffering because of the viral fever.

More than 800 people died of the epidemic but the government was still treating it lightly, Mr Pillai claimed.He attributed the pathetic situation to groupism and pride.

He said officials were not cooperating with the government because of its vindictive actions.

Even as it denied basic amenities, the government was criticising the Central Government and others. The chief minister's statement that he would stage sathyhagraha before the Prime Minister's office was only a gimmick, he charged.
