Labourer dead IN sewer accident

Ballia, Aug 1 (UNI) A labourer died and three others became unconscious, while working in a sewer line in Kotwali area here this evening.

According to police, some labourers from Bihar were working under a sewerage project at Jopminganj, where the incident occurred.

The four victims were taken out from the manhole and rushed to hospital. However, Bechan Pandit (30) of Sitamarhi district, died on the way.

Meanwhile, the condition of three others was said to be stable.

A case has been registered.
