K'taka Govt to regularise services of JOC candidates
Bangalore, Aug 1 (UNI) Karnataka Government has decided to absorb those who had put up ten years and more service in job oriented vocational courses in the Education Department, Minister for Primary and Higher Education B S Horatti informed the Legislative Council today.
Replying to a question raised by Oppotion Leader H K Patil and others, he said the Finance Ministry had given approval for creation of new posts and rules and regulations were being prepared for the purpose.
Ruling out the possibility of any retrenchment, Mr Horatti said in all 3,532 posts would be created for 883 vocational education courses.
The government was concerned about creating more such courses and there was also a thinking to allow SSLC failed students get admission to some vocational courses.
