JD(U) MP runover by a bus in Bihar

Patna, Aug 1 (UNI) JD(U) MP from Vikramganj Ajit Kumar Singh died after he was run over by a speeding bus near Siwan on Siwan- Gopalganj road today.

JD(U) National General secretary and spokesperson Shivanand Tiwari told UNI here that the bus hit Mr Singh while he was talking to former MLA Umashankar Singh by the side of the road injuring him severely.

Mr Singh was soon rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Mr Tiwari said the MP had received multiple injuries in the accident.
