Incarcerated PDP leader Maudhani to return to Kerala tonight
Kochi, Aug 1 (UNI) People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Nazar Maudhani, released from jail after his acquittal in the Coimbatore serial blasts case today, will return to Kerala tonight, his advocate said.
Advocate Shahnawaz told UNI on telephone from Coimbatore that as per the order of the special court, Maudhani will leave Coimbatore tonight itself.
Travelling by road, he will reach Kochi late in the night and halt here for a few hours before leaving for Thiruvananthapuram by air tomorrow morning.
He is expected to address a public meeting in Thiruvananthapuram tomorrow before being admitted to Lords Hospital for treatment.
Maudhani will be accompanied by his wife Sufiya, their two Children, brother, PDP Working president Poothura Ziraj, other relatives and party workers from Coimbatore to Kerala.
