Incarcerated PDP leader Madhani to return to Kerala tonight

Kochi, Aug 1 (UNI) People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Nazar Madhani, released from jail after his acquittal in the Coimbatore serial blasts case today, will return to Kerala tonight, his advocate said.

Advocate Shahnawaz told UNI on telephone from Coimbatore that as per the order of the special court, Madhani will leave Coimbatore tonight itself.

Travelling by road, he will reach Kochi late in the night and halt here for a few hours before leaving for Thiruvananthapuram by air tomorrow morning.

He is expected to address a public meeting in Thiruvananthapuram tomorrow before being admitted to Lords Hospital for treatment.

Madhani will be accompanied by his wife Sufiya, 2 Children, Brother, PDP Working president Poothura Ziraj and other relatives and party workers from Coimbatore to Kerala.
