HC reserves order in Sibu case

New Delhi, Aug 1 (UNI) The Delhi High court today reserved its order in the Shashinath Jha murder case.

Hearing the arguments for and against the former union minister and JMM leader Sibu Soren sentenced life imprisonment for getting his private secretary Shashinath Jha killed, the division bench headed by Justice RS Sodhi and PK Bhasin preferred to reserve their judgement.

Central Bureau of Investigation counsel Siddhartha Luthra argued that the murder charges against Soren be upheld while Sibu's counsels saw many loopholes in the lower court's order.

Their primary contention was the absence of any credible evidence to claim the dead body as that of Jha.
