GO 610 implemented in toto by Irrigation Dept: Minister

Hyderabad, Aug 1 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Major Irrigation Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah today said the Irrigation Department achieved total coverage in implementing GO 610 by transferring non-locals from Telangana Region according to government's instructions.

Speaking to newspersons here, the minister said in all 290 engineers and other technical staff had been shifted to their respective zones.

The government had already issued transfer orders to them, he said adding the government was committed to the implementation of GO 610.
