Gastroenteritis kill 5 people

Kaushambi, Aug 1 (UNI) At least five children, including three girls, have died of gastroenteritis in the last three days here, official sources today said.

Besides, 12 others were still undergoing treatment for the disease, official sources said today.

Those dead have been identified as Malti (15), Kallu (2), Sangita (5), Ranjit (12) and Babli (18).

Chief Medical Officer (CMO) H R Azmi said a team of doctors had visited the most affected Mujahidpur village and the situation was under control.
