Four children injured as school building collapsed

Kendrapada, Aug 1 (UNI) Four school children were injured, two of them critically, when a portion of Gatanai Primary school building under Patkura police, 40 km from here, collapsed today.

The accident took place when a truck hit the school building when the students were taking their midday meal, Patkura police station officer in-charge Tapas Pradhan said.

While two injured students were admitted at local PHC, the other two rushed to the District Headquarters hospital in a critical condition.

Police arrested the driver and seized the truck from Bhuttumundai village under Kujanaga police limit.
