Five Uzbek call girls, pimp arrested in South Delhi

New Delhi, Aug 1 (UNI) With the arrest of six Uzbek women, including five call girls, from South Delhi, police today claimed to have busted a prostitution racket.

Anasthasia (27), Inova (24), Leesa (28), Glades (28), Aima (23) and Farida (42), a pimp, were arrested from Lajpat Nagar during a raid.

Another accused, Nagina, a pimp, is absconding, police said.

''Their visas have expired and their stay in India is illegal.

The passports of all the six women have been impounded,'' police officials said.

They gave also been booked under the Foreigner Act besides the Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act.

The accused used to operate in upmarket South Delhi area.

During interrogation, the accused revealed that they used to visit India for a short durations to make quick money through prostitution.

Further investigations are in progress.
