Dutt to move SC, says counsel

Mumbai, Aug 1 (UNI) Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is likely to move the Apex court for bail next week, his counsel Satish Maneshinde said today.

Sanjay was sentenced to six years rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs 25,000 in the 1993 serial bomb blasts case by TADA court Judge Pramod Kode yesterday.

Maneshinde, along with the actor's sister and Congress MP Priya Dutt, met Sanjay at the Arthur Road prison today.

He said that based on the six-page operative part of the judgement, a copy of which they have already received, an appeal will be filed before the Apex Court seeking interim relief for the actor.

Maneshinde said Sanjay was ''feeling fine and is in high spirits in the jail''.
