CM rejects Shanta's demand for CBI inquiry in Bali episode
Shimla, Aug 1 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbahdra Singh today rejected former union minister Shanta Kumar's demand for a CBI inquiry into the Bali episode, saying it was not necessary after the minister had put in his papers.
''There is no justification in Mr Kumar's demand for a CBI inquiry into the Bali episode after the minister had resigned from the Cabinet,'' he told reporters here.
Referring to the presence of a BJP legislator in the ''indecent party'' at a hotel in Dharamshala town of Kangra district on Thursday night, he said one could raise doubts on the whole video clipping if he was not present in it.
