Boy run over by truck

Mirzapur, Aug 1 (UNI) A minor was run over by a speeding truck in Dehat area of this district today.

Ghantu (10) came under the wheels of the truck when he was crossing a road near Somgara village, police said.

Irked over the incident, a mob blocked the Mirzapur-Jabalpur national highway.

The jam was lifted after senior officials reached the spot.

An investigation was on.
