Aptech-Vietnam wins ICT Gold Medal

Chennai, Aug 1 (UNI) Aptech-Vietnam has been conferred ICT Gold Medal for highest turnover (Category-Training) and Top ICT Training Cup for the fifth consecutive year by the Ho Chi Minh Computer Association (HCA).

A Company release here today said Aptech had trained 30,057 students in Vietnam from 1999 to 2006 through its 31 centres under the brands Aptech Computer Education (Software Engineering) and ARENA (Multimedia Training).

ARENA was currently present in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, whereas Aptech Computer Education had centres in major cities in Southern and Northern parts of Vietnam like Cantho, Camau, Quy Nhon, Vin City, Hue, Danang, Hai Phong besides Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Aptech's curriculum was translated into Vietnamese to reach across wider audiences.

The existing IT (ACE) and ARENA business of Aptech Limited in Vietnam recorded a System-wide Revenue of USD 6 million in the year 2006.

Aptech was planning to open another 20 new IT and Multimedia training centres in Vietnam by 2008 and expects the total revenue of education business in Vietnam for the three year period from 2007 to 2009 to be over USD 30 million, the release added.
