Apollo Hospitals ink JV for hospital in Mauritius

New Delhi, Aug 1 (UNI) Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd today said it is in negotiation with British American Investment Co (Mauritius) Ltd (BAI) for associating in a Joint Venture for setting up a multi speciality hospital in Mauritius.

The hospital will come up on a state land provided by Government of Mauritius it said is a statement.

The JV company has been named British American Hospitals Enterprise Ltd (BAHEL) and Apollo has signed the agreement between BAI and BAI Medical Centres Ltd (BMCL), a subsidiary of BAI.

Apollo will hold 26 per cent of the total equity capital of JV and the balance 74 per cent will be held by BMCL.
