Andhra Bank revises interest rates under NRE accounts

Hyderabad, Aug 1 (UNI) The Andhra Bank today announced the revision of interest rates on deposits made under Non-Resident (External) accounts,acoording to a press release.

For the deposit period of one year to two years, the rate of interest has been decreased from 5.43 per cent per annum to 5.25 per cent, while for the deposit period of two to three years it would be 5.17 per cent against the previous 5.43 per cent.

For the deposit period of three years and above, the rate of interest would be 5.21 per cent compared to 5.46 per cent earlier. The revision of interest rates would be effective from today, the release issued here said.
