Ajay Shankar is new DIPP Secretary

New Delhi, Aug 1 (UNI) Mr Ajay Shankar today took over as the new Secretary of the Department of Industrial Policy&Promotion in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

An IAS officer of the 1973 batch from Uttar Pradesh cadre, he had earlier served in the Planning Commission and Ministry of Power, an official statement said.
