34 corrupt public servants nabbed
Chandigarh, August 1 (UNI) Punjab Vigilance Bureau, during its ongoing campaign against corruption, has nabbed four gazetted officers and 30 non-gazetted officers red handed in 34 trap cases during the months of June and July.
Disclosing this here today, Punjab Vigilance Bureau Joint Dierctor Harcharn Singh Bhullar said the Vigilance Bureau had put up its best efforts to eradicate corruption from the state. In this direction, the vigilance officers had registered criminal cases against corrupt public servants and ensured that suspect did not escape judicial punishment, he said.
