Two sentenced to life for murder

Mahoba, July 31 (UNI) A local court today handed life imprisonment to two people in a three-year-old murder case.

In 2004, the three accused Lakhan, Sripati and Jagdish killed one Prabhu and greivously wounded his nephew Laakhan, while they were working in their field at Baghraun village of Charkhari area.

A named FIR was lodged against the accused.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Ashok Kumar Verma in his judgement pronounced life imprisonment to Sripati and Lakhan, whereas freed Jagdish due to lack of evidence.
