Two accused surrender in Madhya Pradesh
Bhopal, July 31 (UNI) Two accused, who had attacked two police constables with sharp weapons in the Madhya Pradesh capital last week, today surrendered before district court.
However, main accused Ratan, who carried a reward of Rs 5,000 on his arrest, was absconding. The reward amount had been raised to Rs 15,000.
Superintendent of Police Anant Kumar Singh said Vishal and Shyam surrendered before the court this afternoon. Both were arrested and presented before Judicial Magistrate Tripti Sharma's court.
Though Piplani police sought to take the duo for ten days' police remand, the court sent them to remand for three days.
On July 28, three motorcycle-borne youths had attacked two police constables when they stopped them. Later, they fled and the bike was recovered from Jamboori ground.
