TVS Electronics earns Rs 56.58 cr revenue in Q1

Chennai, July 31 (UNI) TVS Electronics has earned revenue of Rs 56.58 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2007, a growth of 7.4 per cent as compared to the corresponding quarter in the previous year.

The PBT was Rs 7.36 crore, as compared to a loss of Rs 2.55 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year, a company release here said.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 2007 grew by 4.9 per cent to Rs 53.84 crore from Rs 51.34 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.

The PAT, after considering exceptional item sale of CMS business at Tumkur, during the quarter improved to Rs 6.33 crore from a loss of Rs 2.17 crore in the corresponding quarter in the previous year, the release added.
