Toll in Mudigonda police firing rises to seven

Hyderabad, July 31 (UNI) The toll in the July 28 police firing at Mudigonda in Khammam District of Andhra Pradesh rose to seven, with one person succumbing to injuries at the Osmania General hospital.

According to police, the person, who was injured in police firing and admitted to the hospital died in the early hours today.

Six people died on the spot while eight others were injured in the police firing when the Left parties observed a statewide bandh, demanding house sites for the poor in the state.
