Sical Logistics net profit up 46%

Chennai, July 31 (UNI) Sical Logistics Limited, a leading provider of integrated solutions for offshore logistics, has registered a consolidated net profit of Rs 19.52 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007, up 46 per cent.

The profit before tax was 22.74 crore, up 34 per cent from Rs 16.99 crore a year ago, a company release here said.

The improvement in profits and margins was primarily because of other sources of income, mainly foreign exchange and reduced interest as a result of repayment of loans, the release added.
