Shalimar blast caused by grenade
Srinagar, July 31 (UNI) The blast in a tourist bus in Shalimar was caused by a grenade, a police spokesman said tonight.
Seven people, including five tourists from Gujarat, were killed and twenty others injured in the blast on Sunday.
He said after forensic chemical investigation of the samples collected at the site, preliminary inferences suggested that the blast was caused by a grenade.
The investigations have revealed that the grenade was filled with shrapnels. Such types of grenades had been recovered from militants of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) recently.
