Seven lakh Ganja plants destroyed in Tripura
Agartala, Jul 31 (UNI) Tripura's Forest officials have destroyed about seven lakh Ganja plants in the reserve forest area of bordering Boxnagar.
Forest department sources here today informed that acting on a tip-off, the guards yesterday stormed the Ganja plantation area. The owner of the plantation was not known, sources have said.
They estimated that about 3.5 lakh kg of Ganja could have been produced from the destroyed plants with an approximate value of about Rs one core.
