Sanjay Dutt arrives in TADA court

Mumbai, July 31 (UNI) Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, convicted under the Arms Act in the 1993 blasts case, today arrived at Tada Court here which will hand down the sentence in the case.

A tense-looking Dutt was accompanied by his lawyers, Satish Maneshinde and Karan Singh.

A large contingent of mediapersons and fans had laid siege to the Tada Court.

On July 27, while sentencing four family members of prime absconding accused Tiger Memon, the court had said the verdict in Dutt's case would be delivered on July 31.

Dutt has been convicted under the Arms Act but the quantum of sentence is yet to be pronounced. The Act entails a maximum punishment of 10 years.
