Reform in higher education sought

Visakhapatnam, July 31 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Council Chairman K C Reddy today said meaningful reform of the higher education system with a long-term perspective was necessary as recommended by the National Knowledge Commission (NKC).

Speaking at a seminar organised by the Andhra University Teachers Association executive body and releasing the NKC report he said reform in the higher education system was imperative. It required expansion opportunities, he added.
