PSEB JE's son missing

Fatehgarh Sahib, July 31 (UNI) Eight-year-old son of a Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) Junior Engineer (JE) posted at Sirhind has been missing since Sunday evening.

According to police, JE Shiv Shankar Lal, in a complaint to Sirhind police, said that his eight-year-old son Rohit alias Sonu, a first standard student, had gone out to play with his friends on Sunday afternoon but had not returned so far.

Mr Lal said that his son was seen last around 1700 hrs on Sunday by a shopkeeper near their residence in PSEB colony situated on G.T.

Road. Efforts by family and friends to find Rohit had proved futile.

Police have registered a case under section 365 of the IPC and started investigations.
