NTPC inks JV with Singareni Collieries

New Delhi, July 31 (UNI) State-owned National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) has formed a 50:50 joint venture with Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) to undertake various projects in coal and power sectors.

The joint venture company called 'NTPC-SCCL Global Ventures Pvt Ltd' will undertake acquisition of coal and lignite mine blocks, development and operation of integrated coal-based power plants and providing consultancy services, a statement said here.
