KC(M), BJP activists stage road blockade

Kottayam, July 31 (UNI) Hundreds of the BJP and Kerala Congress (M) activists today resorted to a road blockade at M C Road here and Choottuveli on the outskirts of the town, in protest against the condition of the road.

Traffic was affected following the agitation, inaugurated by Thomas Chazhikadan, MLA. He demanded immediate steps to make the road transportable.

Meanwhile, BJP District President Narayanan Namboodiri inaugurated the BJP agitation near the Gandhi Square.
