Indo Asian Fusegear revenue up by 25 pc

Chennai, July 31 (UNI) Indo Asian Fusegear Limited, a leading manufacturer of electrical switchgear and energy efficient lighting equipment, has recorded a total revenue of Rs 56.02 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007, up by 25 per cent over the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.

EBIDTA stood at Rs 8.08 crore, registering a growth of 44 per cent from Rs 5.58 crore in Q1 FY07, a company release here today said.

Net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 3.65 crore and the non-annualised EPS was at Rs 2.49.

Regarding the segmental revenue, the revenue from the switchgear business increased to Rs 48.31 crore in Q1 FY08 as compared to Rs 37.34 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY07.

The revenues from lighting business also increased to Rs 7.73 crore from Rs 7.51 crore in the corresponding quarter in the last fiscal, the release added.
