House of Pearl's revenue at Rs 280 cr in Q1

Chennai, July 31 (UNI) House of Pearl Fashions Limited, a ready-to-wear apparel company, has reported consolidated total revenue of Rs 280 crore for the first quarter, an increase of 33 per cent over the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

The net profit stood at Rs 14.73 crore, an increase of 19 per cent from Rs 12.35 crore in Q1 FY07, a company release here said today.

The EPS for the quarter was at Rs 7.56 as against Rs 7.45 in Q1 FY07.

The operating margin and net margin for Q1 FY 08 stood at 9.4 per cent and 5.2 per cent as against 11.5 per cent and 5.9 per cent respectively for the corresponding quarter last fiscal, the release added.
