Hooda releases book of Hindi poems

Chandigarh, July 11 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today released a book of poems in Hindi titled "Udi Chale Sugandh" written by Dr S S Dalal.

Mr Hooda described it as an attempt to highlight day-to-day life through poems based on hope, commitment, faith, affection, cooperation and patriotism.

The book has 101 poems and has been compiled by Dr Dalal in about two years.

Dr Dalal, who is Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rewari was inspired not only by the common man but also by rag-pickers to write these poems to highlight the sufferings and problems of the society.

The Chief Minister appreciated the manner in which the author has tried to inspire the people with his poems of patriotism.

He said that it was high time for the youth to get inspiration from our great freedom fighters and patriots, who had made supreme sacrifices to safeguard the unity of the country.
